There’s new holiday accommodation in High Blantyre being built. Crossbasket Cabins introduce a new way to experience the estate, where contemporary sophistication meets raw natural beauty.
Twelve luxurious timber cabins nestled along the banks of the River Calder offer private, self-contained retreats designed for pure escapism, right here on Blantyre’s doorstep. Situated at Crossbasket grounds, their website promotes the experience saying, “relax, watch the seasons change, and enjoy the surrounding woodland without compromising on five-star comfort.”
Each cabin accommodates up to four guests with a double bed and double sofa bed, luxury amenities and interiors drawing inspiration from the textures and tones of the Hebrides.
Careful consideration has been taken to create a serene space in which guests can switch off fully, special touches include an enclosed, luxury bathroom on the balcony with a freestanding copper roll-top bath and undisturbed views of the surrounding nature.
The website continues, “Guests staying in our cabins are invited to enjoy a delicious breakfast within our Foveran’s atrium, part of our newly opened Art-Deco inspired hotel, as standard. Private outdoor seating and private parking are also included.”
