Today, a bit of nostalgia going back 33 years. Back to 1990 and before google maps street images, here’s a photo which will bring back lots of memories for Blantyre people of a certain age.
The former CASPERS nightclub at the corner of Victoria Street and Glasgow Road, a building which is now Blantyre Library. That sign brought a lot of memories for me, when I think back of the last couple of years of the 80s, and spending my Friday, Saturday (and sometimes Sunday!) evenings in there!
