Christina Braid at Boathouse

Taken around 1910 or so, is Christina Brown (nee Braid) of Boathouse along with her 4 daughters. Christina was the wife of Archibald Brown, the market gardener at what many of us know as “Boat Jocks” orchard.

Standing is Katie on left,  Chris is seated. To the right of Christina is Jessie, and Jeannie. Christina Braid passed away in 1917. Thanks to Jenny Day for sharing these photos.
