Names of Local Houses wanted

P Veverka

original_personalised-house-name-sigIf you have a house that has an actual “name” in Blantyre (not just a numbered address), i’d like to hear from you. For example, mine is called “Croftfoot”. I’m including such properties into my huge A-Z encyclopedia about Blantyre. To be permanently listed into this local history archive, all thats needed is:

The name of your home
The street its on

You can post below or message me privately. With each submission, I’ll try to add more info for you, e.g previous owners, construction dates, the history of the name etc. Thanks.
