1978 Ladies Circle donation

Even energetic toddlers need a “sit down” every now and again. So, in October 1978, it was welcome news for Blantyre Health Centre Nursery to be given a donation of many chairs, raised by the Blantyre Ladies Circle.

Circle funds were raised by several events that year including a Castaways Ball in High Blantyre Public Hall on 21st October 1978. The chairs were warmly accepted.
