1929 Induction of Rev James M Clyde

On Wednesday 17th April 1929, the Rev James Montgomery Clyde was inducted at Livingstone Memorial U.F Church on Glasgow Road. Succeeding Rev Thomas A Hugh, the ceremony prompted a photocall. James had transferred to Blantyre from Buckhaven.

Amongst the many Ministers attending were JS Lawrie of Hamilton, Rev PJ Bisset Falconer of Strathaven, Rev Charles Campbell of Airdrie, Rev TA Hugh (retiring), Rev Angus Fletcher moderator of Bothwell, and Rev Robert Ferguson of Hallside.
