Scooping out the Bowl

A contemporary photo of my family, rarely shared here. Pictured with her granny, baking earlier today is my 4 year old daughter. My father in law took the photo and when I saw it, it reminded me instantly of when I was young, pleading with my gran at Stonefield Crescent to scoop out the last bit of tasty mixture from the baking bowl. Did anybody else do that or is this genetic?!

My wee one is certainly displaying her ‘creative side’ these days and already taking an interest in old and new buildings in Blantyre. I asked her the other day, “want to go the David Livingstone Centre park to play on the swings?” She said, “can we take your car daddy? The Village is too far away”.
