Alexander is my Great Grandfather & lived at 81 Gladgow Rd with his wife Sarah & their daughter Jane born 1911 - my maternal Grandmother. My Great Grandparents were married by John Burleigh United Free Church on Sept 25th, 1908 at Abbeygreen Manse.
My Grandmother was orphaned at 16 & I am looking for information on;
why his cycle agent closed in 1918 &
are my great grandparents burried in Blantyre.
any info on my Blantyre heritage is appreciated as I am doing my Grandmother’s life story.
with thanks

Still working on this and was also wondering where the advertisement Alexander Barrie, Cycle Agent and Repairer, Stonefield, Blantyre came from? Pg 173 Glasgow Road The Real Story book.
Thank you - Lindsay Paterson
