Blantyre Images explores old and modern Blantyre by featuring 60 incredible photos of this town, aimed at both adults and children alike. Its a different direction for me, focusing on the photos, rather than the history itself. However, I’ve included a page on each photo of narrative to explain more about what you’re looking at.
This is going to be priced at £11.99 but anybody coming along to its launch at the Blantyre Gala Weekend on Sat 10th and Sun 11th June will be able to buy these first, signed editions for just £8.99. All proceeds go to local good causes.
The book is dedicated to my fellow Blantyre Community Committee members, naming them personally and will go on sale globally around the world on Amazon that same weekend.
