1910s Blantyre Miners Outing

This great photo is shared by Rory Lyle who suspects it may be a Miners Outing by Blantyre miners and their families. Rory added it may be associated with the McCartney family in Blantyre and may also possibly have associations with Uddingston.

We’ll probably never know all the people in this photo, but it’s a wonderful happy picture nonetheless and worth sharing here. Looks like a good old typical Scottish Summer with all those coats and hats on!
