Blantyre Changes 60 years

A look at Blantyre Changing over the years. 1947 aerial photograph compared to 60 years later with google earth’s 2007 picture of the exact area. If anybody finds this interesting, i’ll create others covering rest of Blantyre.

Since i created this, i found the answer to the strange square in Stonefield Park, which was apparently a pool, that used to freeze over in Winter.

The photo at least serves as a good record of the evolution of the town and just how our green spaces are changing.
