Hi Paul,

My Grandad Thomas Docherty (born 1906) and Gran Alice Preece (born 1910) were married in Hamilton on 1938.

My grans mother & father were called James Preece (1870) and Mary Ann Galliford (1870) married in Wales 1890.

My grandfathers mother & father were called Robert Docherty (1877) and Margaret Hart (1880) married in Hamilton 1899.

I think coal mining was the reason for moving around on both sides of my Gran and Grandads family.

I think I have some Wales and Devon on my Grans side and Irish on my Grandads. I just don't know if u have more in depth info that perhaps I wasn't aware of. Any help is better than nothing. Thank you Paul.
