Hi Paul, my grandparents John and Mary McAuslin (nee Clarkin) lived in the steel houses in Watson Place in the 1950’s.  Whilst I have knowledge of  their children Edward(my father, nickname Sonny), Mary, Jim, John, and Catherine,  I have not had much success in trying to work back the years to find family tree history of my grandfather John and grandmother Mary. There is a family “story?” that my grandfather John(born 1888) was a McAuslan but the handwriting on birth certificate was McAuslin.  To find out more about my grandfather would be greatly appreciated.
