A charming, rural scene from 1930 or so. In the foreground prominently is the Suspension Bridge (or former Pey Brig) over the River Clyde. Above the braes, which were used for drying greens, you can see the villas of Rosebank Avenue.
This whole scene is very overgrown now, woodland on the slopes and homes on the upper elevations.
