Staying with the beautiful new collection of photos of Auchentibber. Another photo from the 1910’s. This time simply showcasing the wooden bench carefully constructed around a small tree. A welcome seat to sit with refreshments after playing some quoiting on the nearby ground.

This whole scene, from over 100 years ago was once near where the Auchentibber War memorial is now, (it would have been just out the picture in a modern context). Today, this is all woodland.
