This picture is from the first week in 1949. Judging from their cheeky smiles, these Blantyre lads and lassies of the 1st Blantyre Cub and Brownie Packs, enjoyed their special evening at the Annual Christmas and New Year party.
The event was held upstairs in High Blantyre Parish Church Halls at Kirkton Cross.
