Another old School photos. This time from 1946. These kids are all Blantyre children, born in the early part of WW2. This is Auchinraith School, the first intake of pupils that year, the youngest kids.
Hamish Dow kindly shared this photo adding, “My brother Neil is 5th from the left in the middle row. I don’t have details of the other kids.”
This is a LONG shot, but does anybody recognise fathers of grandfathers in this photo? I’ve zoomed in a little which shows there was not a lot of attention being paid to the camera at the moment of this photo, an unusual occurrence for an official school photo.
