How about this for a great postcard?! It features the junction of Glasgow Road into Cowan Wilson Avenue looking over to Holmswood Avenue. I believe it was taken in the early 1960s given how new the houses look and how young the gardens look.

A beautiful array of flowers in the raised bed at the entrance can be seen on the left.
