Two photos. Same location, but 100 years apart.

This is the bottom of Stonefield Road, Blantyre. The photo looks northwards towards St Joseph’s Hall. Looking at these pictures, I think I know which one I prefer. What’s your memories of this area?

Sidenote: I still don’t have an accurate year for the old School Chapel pictured in the middle being demolished. Can you remember what year that was pulled down?
