Going back 30 years now and inside another old property. This time it’s Crossbasket House (long before any rebranding or renovation!). I forgot what a haphazard layout Crossbasket had back then, with only parts of the building in use, large parts of it neglected or damp.

Back then it was in use by a cultural and religious group, a community of like minded people and the upkeep of the place was very much down to them. Making use of the best available space, the warmer parts of the house was the norm.

This photo from 1990 shows just that, the corridors themselves being put to good use!
