How beautifully well kept Shuttle Row was in the 1930s after the Museum opened. It seemed to looked after, the grounds tended, neat and tidy.
These photos show the museum off well in the 1930s. Some of the trees were removed to create the Africa Pavilions.
Following a recent look around the inside of the building on a business visit, I’m looking forward to the museum reopening next year. I hope to continue and further strengthen my ties as Blantyre Project with David Livingstone Trust.
