This photo was amongst my gran’s things. Dated 1910, I’m not sure who the people are, (or even if they’re family or even Blantyre people!). This is an Edwardian family day out, dressed up, likely on a Sunday. I think the location is Lanark Loch.

The lack of leaves on the trees suggests before Spring or during Winter, which may have been fairly cold! Not a care in the world a time before WW1 for ALL the family. I couldn’t resist showing this here.
