Well, it’s been a while since I walked in the front door under THAT sign! This is 1993, and of course is Papa Franks on Broompark Road. What’s YOUR memories of Papas?
PS I have a good photo of Papa Franks interior but when I took it in 1991 or so, I was focusing on a particular Blantyre girl on the other side of the dance floor, who would immediately be recognised if I ever posted. So, it remains unseen. lol.

Ray Couston When did it change to The Doon Inn, just out of interest?
Liz Doonin Ray Couston it was originally the Doon Inn (around 1966/67 when it opened) then changed to Papa Frank’s for a number of years. It then changed back to the Doonin Inn. Can’t remember when (in the 90’s)
