The ladies of Blantyre Ladies’ Co-operatives Guild looked set for a fine evening as they were pictured here in December 1978 at their annual Christmas dance and dinner.

The event was held in Auchinraith Social Club and over 100 ladies attended. Guests for the evening were from Burnbank Guild. Music was heard from Peter McPhail and his band.

The evening was a great success and a good start to a memorable festive season for all attending.
