Carolyn Whittaker shared this photo of her parent’s Blantyre wedding.
Maisie Brownrigg of 26 Birdsfields Drive married Jim Whittaker of Auchinraith Road at Blantyre Old Parish Church on the 17th July 1965.
Carolyn told me, “Once married they stayed with my Mums parents for 5 months before getting their own flat in East Kilbride were they still live today. “
I recall Maisie living at home with her mum, dad and sister Jean whom we played with along with Sandra Casey.
