Rest in Peace Margaret Tremble

19046989_1703955952962961_232324871_nI was saddened this week to hear of the passing of Mrs Margaret Tremble, beloved wife of the late Councillor Murray Tremble.

Margaret was married to Murray for over 57 years. Sadly, she was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma at the end of January, passing away on Sunday 4th June 2017.

Her son Stuart added, “This was just 1 year and 15 days after my dad passed on 20th May 2016.”

I know the Tremble family is large and they’ll all be devastated this week. To many people in Blantyre, Margaret was known for being the kind hearted caretaker of Larkfield Hall from the early 1980’s when it opened, until taking retirement in the late 1990’s.

Margaret is survived by her 6 children Kay, David ,Colin, Alistair, Stuart & Kerry. She leaves behind 13 Grandchildren Lee, Zoe, Craig, Callum, Laura, Glen, Amie, Ruairidh, Cameron, Findlay, Afton, Evie & Deven and incredibly, 3 Great Grandchildren Tyler, Darcy & Teighan.

A funeral service is arranged at South Lanarkshire Crematorium on Wednesday 14th June at 13:15 and thereafter at Carrigans, Broompark Rd. All welcome.

Our thoughts go out to all the Tremble family and we’re sure you’ll join me in wishing the family deepest sympathies.
