1940’s Milheugh Bridge

1940s milheugh bridge wmTwo chaps stand on the former Milheugh Stone Bridge, near the bend on the Pech Brae. Taken in the 1940s, you can see that this previous stone bridge once had iron railings, perhaps removed very recent to this picture for the iron drive during wartime years.

The men are standing above where the small tunnel arch is today, this bridge being demolished in the 1950’s.
