People are forever sending me in unusual photos. Christina Beech kindly shared these back in February 2017. She was out walking near some derelict farm buildings and noticed this little intact Robertson’s screw-top bottle. The interesting find of course refers to the “ginger” factory, Robertsons of Srpingwells, Blantyre. There was the whole bottle, just sitting there on one of the beam supports.
I can just picture some thirsty farm labourer placing it there all those years back as he finished “downing the contents!”
