Next up is a 1953 coronation party photo featuring many children at Priory Street. Margaret Campbell shared this lovely family photo saying, “Looking at the photo, I’m at the front 3rd from the right. My brother Duncan next to me, behind me is my eldest brother Robert, next to him on the left is Anna Woods, and next to her my 2nd eldest brother Louis. Back row 2nd right is Hamish McLean.
My brother Robert lived with our Grand parents, so he knew all the other children. We are a very close family of 7 boys and 7 girls. My dad also came from a large family of 15, his father also being a miner.”
Do you recognise anybody else? These kids would have been born between 1947 to 1950 or so.

I have this picture. That is my beautiful mum, front row, end right with dress and bow in her hair, Isabel Kennedy Edgar. Stayed at the top of Priory Street. Sadly she passed January 2021 but i have the stories she told of this time and more with me. Great to see this picture on here.
