Thanks to Robert Brownlie, who took time to compile this moving image of the evolution of Main Street. Sent into Blantyre Project this week, it shows Main Street looking westwards towards Kirkton, the older early 20th Century photos by comparison to colour early 21st Century photos, proving how much character and charm this area has lost.
