2014 Calder Otter at Rotten Calder

Well done to Jim Brown for managing to photograph a beautiful Otter back in the Calder River in December 2014. At an undisclosed location to the North, this otter was clearly enjoying a Winter swim, in river water much improved in the last few decades.

If the return of these amazing wild animals are a sign of things to come for Blantyre, then that sits very well with me. I look forward to otter spotting with my daughter in the coming months.
