1905. My great, great grandfather and grandmother took a June daytrip from his home at Priory Raws (he was a windingman there) and wearing Sunday best arranged for their 8 children to be photographed in Bridgeton. All Blantyre folk. Now 109 years old, this photo pictures my great grandfather John Duncan on the far right (ie my mums grandfather). In the middle is my great, great grandfather with his wife Christina Reid. Some of his brothers married Weirs and MacFarlanes also from Blantyre. My great, great grandfather is the chap off centre to the left with the grey hair. A cherished family photo and in excellent condition.
